ClassiCon has aspired from the start not only to offer pieces by established characters such as Eileen Gray and Eckart Muthesius, but also to promote contemporary design and feature selected examples in its program. Of course, the models chosen must have the kind of quality and advanced shape that gives them the “classic” designation. That’s why ClassiCon is always open to new design ideas.

The ClassiCon brand is synonymous with quality, individuality and a timeless aesthetic, regardless of passing fashion. More important than the degree of fame achieved by the designer is the demonstrated fascination for new formal concepts. This focus helps ClassiCon to continually discover interesting young designers.
In the case of Konstantin Grcic, this led to a long-standing collaboration, which the Munich-based designer leveraged from the start by including references to the iconic Eileen Gray in his secretary Orcus.

ClassiCon manufactures and sells the Eileen Gray collection as a worldwide licensee of Aram Designs Ltd, London. In the early 1970s, Eileen Gray began working with Zeev Aram to develop her furniture and lamps for mass production. Eileen Gray transferred the marketing rights for her projects to Aram in 1973.

GEROSA DESIGN, owner of the LIVE DESIGN website, is an Italian and international reference point (Switzerland, European Union, United States, Asia…) for the entire collection of ClassiCon products.
